Deputy Chief Minister Dinesh Sharma, who also holds the upper education portfolio, said that within the universities, where the first-year exams in undergraduate courses weren't held, the scholars are going to be promoted to the second year.

The examination system are going to be simplified at the university level and therefore the results are going to be declared by August 31, Sharma said within the statement.
The academic session 2021-22 will begin from September 13, 2021, he said.
