PUBG Mobile India or Battlegrounds Mobile India: Krafton reveals an enormous update

It looks like Krafton itself has admitted that Battlegrounds Mobile India is that the same as PUBG Mobile.

Lakhs of PUBG Mobile India fans in India are waiting eagerly for the launch of Indian version of PUBG Mobile - Battlegrounds Mobile India. But ever since Battlegrounds Mobile India was announced, people were busy trying to find similarities with PUBG Mobile.

However, it looks like the corporate itself has admitted that Battlegrounds Mobile India is analogous to or an equivalent as PUBG Mobile. This was done by Krafton CEO CH Kim during a recent statement to the media consistent with an IGN India report.

"We would really like to precise our sincere gratitude to our Indian fans for his or her overwhelming response to the Battlegrounds IP first developed by me and my team in 2017," Kim said during a statement on the game's website on Jefferson Davis' Birthday .

"The Battlegrounds IP received love and acclaim from players worldwide, and Krafton will still repose on the IP. That effort includes bringing amazing content to Battlegrounds Mobile India and providing an incomparable battle royale experience to our players," he said.

Krafton was called Bluehole in 2017, but the Battlegrounds IP mentioned by Kim could only ask the favored battle royale game PUBG, consistent with the report, which states that it had been the sole game title launched by the corporate that year.

Kim's statement that the corporate was getting to repose on an equivalent IP seems to suggest that the Battlegrounds Mobile India game might be a replica of the first PUBG mobile game, consistent with the report.

While this might not be an enormous deal within the grand scheme of things, it's somewhat significant since this is often the closest Krafton has come to admitting that Battlegrounds Mobile India is essentially a refashioned PUBG Mobile.

Meanwhile, speculations are rife that Battlegrounds Mobile India developer Krafton would release the sport in June but Krafton is yet to form any official announcement during this regard.

It is to be noted that within few weeks since the announcement of Battlegrounds Mobile India has surpassed 20 million pre-registrations on the Google Play Store.
